SMIRC Refund policy
At SMIRC we understand that life happens and someone who has purchased a ticket may need to return their ticket or want to transfer or give it to a friend if they are not able to attend so let's talk it out.
Refund requests made 30 days prior to the event date will be honored. We will refund you 90% of your original ticket price and any additional swag you may have purchased.
Why 90%? Because we get billed processing fees by our vendors and clearing houses and alas we can not pay to give refunds, so we will refund you the ticket cost minus the fees we have to pay to make that happen.
If we are within 30 days of the event date we will refund you 50% of the cost of your ticket however any add ons such as shirts or rope kits we are not able to refund. Once the ticket windows closes we are no longer able to provide refunds. We can arrange to mail you your products instead but at that point a refund for goods is not an option. To request a refund just e-mail us at email@example.com with your confirmation information and ticket # and we'll get it taken care of.
Now, onto transferring your ticket to someone else, that can be achieved but is sufficiently rare that we do not have an automated process for doing it. If you need to transfer your ticket send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can make accommodations as we are reasonable people.
